DJJ Stands Behind First Lady Sandra Deal
On behalf of all of the Department of Juvenile Justice employees throughout Georgia, I want to extend my heartfelt support to First Lady Sandra Deal as she battles the initial stages of breast cancer. First Lady Deal’s openness, strength and good nature in responding to this health challenge has been an inspiration to all. Her willingness to share her story and encourage women to seek out yearly mammograms will save lives and reassure others that staying proactive about one’s health is an important necessity for everyone.
First Lady Deal has been and continues to be a great friend and champion to the Department of Juvenile Justice and we are proud to support her fight against breast cancer.
One Team. One Mission.
Avery D. Niles, DJJ Commissioner
