Eastman RYDC: Staff Appreciation Luncheon

DJJ’s Eastman Regional Youth Detention Center (RYDC) recently observed ‘staff appreciation week’ to show admiration for the hard-working team at this secure facility. Recognizing their everyday efforts to help Georgia's young offenders, the Eastman Team received a well-deserved ‘THANK YOU’ for the wide variety of tasks they perform for the citizens of Georgia. Perhaps the best part of this year’s Eastman RYDC appreciation week was the special luncheon to honor the entire Team.

Along with the sincere respect and recognition dished out to the Eastman RYDC crew, this year's luncheon was topped off with the facility’s National Hot Dog Day celebration. It was chili in July on the toppings table-- and mustard and ketchup too-- as the Eastman RYDC luncheon stirred up everyone’s appetites and satisfied everyone's picnic preferences. National Hot Dog Day recognizes the USA’s tradition of grilled wieners on toasted buns and honors the foot-long history of the iconic all-American ballpark summer meal.

Like hotdogs, apple pie and cheeseburgers, the Eastman Team was recognized as this facility’s dependable crowd pleaser. Congratulations again to the Eastman RYDC.
