DJJ Cares: Volunteer Services Donation Drive

Recently, the Office of Victim and Volunteer Services had several of its local and regional coordinators donate toiletries to domestic violence survivors in Macon helped by the Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia . The Office of Victim and Volunteer Services is committed to serving communities throughout the state through activities dedicated to improving the lives of victims of crime in Georgia.

The Crisis Line & Safe House's Sexual Assault Advocacy Team is dedicated to the needs of sexual assault survivors in Central Georgia. They provide crisis intervention, advocacy and follow up services for those affected by sexual violence and prevention education through community outreach and awareness events. Crisis Line & Safe House Sexual Advocacy Team is comprised of both trained staff and volunteer advocates who are on-call 24 hours a day to assist those affected by sexual violence. Crisis Line & Safe Houseworks with the justice system, the medical community and other public and private agencies to provide need-based services to sexual assault survivors.
