Human Resources supports the strategic goals and mission of the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) by monitoring workforce trends and proposing initiatives to address challenges to the DJJ Team's performance. The Office of Human Resources' mission is to attract, develop, and retain a diverse workforce within the Department of Juvenile Justice. Human Resources oversees the daily operations of the agency workforce, including recruitment and retention, background checks, appropriate compensation and benefits, EEO compliance, timekeeping, and absence management.
