Robb Gilstrap was promoted to the position of Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Community Services on February 16, 2026.

Mr. Gilstrap began his career with the State of Georgia in 1995 at Hays State Prison as a Corrections Officer. In 1996, he joined the Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Probation Parole Specialist (JPPS) II in Chattooga County. He has served as a school-based JPPS, JPPS III, Juvenile Program Manager, District Director, Regional Administrator for the Northwest Region, and most recently, Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Community Services. 

Mr. Gilstrap received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tennessee in 1995.
