Dr. Walker is a 33-year veteran educator. She has served in several positions throughout her 20-year tenure with DJJ in both teaching and leadership roles including Teacher, Principal, Regional Principal, and Director of Instructional Programs. Before joining DJJ, Dr. Walker worked as a Teacher and Assistant Principal for 13 years in the Baldwin County School District in Milledgeville, GA.
Dr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University, an Education Specialist Degree in Education Leadership from Troy State University, and a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University.
