The Curriculum Department is committed to equipping students and teachers with the instructional strategies and resources essential for success in grades 6–12.
We ensure all students have equitable access to core content at their instructional level, maintaining consistency across classrooms and schools.
GPA develops, maintains, and continuously refines the 6–12 curriculum to ensure full alignment with the Georgia Learning Standards in the following areas:
- ELA
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- Physical Education and Health
- *Core Electives
GPA provides direct support to professional learning communities and schools to ensure the effective implementation of its standards-based instructional framework.
GPA also supports the design and delivery of high-quality professional learning to promote the consistent and effective use of curriculum and evidence-based instructional practices.
Additionally, GPA advances the development of blended learning environments through:

- Virtual Learning
