DJJ COVID-19 Case Update

The data in the table below represents the number of DJJ employees or youth who have a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 as of 5 p.m. on October 18, 2021. Approximately 506 Secure Facilities employees, 180 Community Service Division employees, 44 DJJ Central Office employees and six employees at other DJJ sites have tested positive for COVID-19. Seven hundred and fifteen out of the 736 employees have received medical clearance. A total of 243 youth have tested positive for the virus and 243 have received medical clearance following 14-days of isolation.
