DJJ COVID-19 Case Update

January 21, 2021

The data in the table below represents the number of DJJ employees or youth who have a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 as of 5 p.m. on January 21, 2022. Approximately 738 Secure Facilities employees, 252 Community Service Division employees, 71 DJJ Central Office employees and six employees at other DJJ sites have tested positive for COVID-19. Nine hundred and forty-four out of the 1068 employees have received medical clearance. A total of 409 youth have tested positive for the virus and 406 have received clearance following medical isolation.
